I would think the world is a case of “much ado about nothing.”
Wars are fought and forgotten. What we want we get sometimes, and we soon forget we have them or wanted them… Nothing is ultimately important. This is an aspect of emptiness, things come and go, our desires and hates are fickle. Nothing is concrete enough for you to hold on to give you lasting happiness. And nothing is concrete enough to hold on to you to give you lasting suffering. Letting do leads to True Happiness. Life is then easy and tolerable for the average Buddhist who understands his personal roots of suffering… Then, why is there a “need” to aspire towards the ultimate fruit of countries other beings out there who understand not, that their craving and hatred, out of their delusion, are much ado about nothing. This need in you that you will feel, to become Buddha’s, arises out of Compassion. This is the preciousness of Compassion. It creates Buddha’s --- that creates countless more Buddha’s. It is not much ado about anything at all! It has to do with everything that is precious.
