Lady Antebellum–Need You Now (Album 2010)

Lady Antebellum – Need You Now (Album 2010)
MP3 CBR 320kbps Folk Rock/Pop/Country
About Lady AntebellumIn the summer of 2006, three gifted young adults walked into a house hoping to create music together—and Lady Antebellum walked out.The sound that Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood cooked up while hanging at the Nashville-area home of Charles’ brother throughout the summer of 2006 is a unique blend that mingles classic country, 1960s R&B soulfulness and the heart-on-the-sleeve openness of 1970s singer-songwriters, all presented with a razor-sharp contemporary edge. It’s a sound that had Lady Antebellum, as the threesome dubbed itself, generating deafening buzz as one of modern country’s brightest hopes even before the release of their new self-titled debut album. The band: Charles Kelley, Dave Haywood en Hillary Scott.

Jack Johnson-To The Sea (2010 Album)

Jack Johnson - To The Sea
He's a cool hawaiian surfer-turned-singer songwriter flaunting stitches on his forehead from riding the waves, yet this phychedelic image clashes with the mild acoustic lite he dishes. A tribute to his late surfer dad, To The Sea has a warm, genuine indie ring to it, a vogue throwback to classic Bob Marley and Neil Young if you will. Shame that this album's style is too similar to his previous ones to earn serious love from critics but fans wouldn't care-not when the catchy refrains are still aplenty to make this an enjoyable spin.

Sony Music - Boom (2010 Album)

Sony Music - Boom
Not to be mixed up with Boomz - the infamous word coined by Ris Low to mean "Wow!" - Boom!, which is equally wow-some, is one resounding compilation comprising 20 tracks featuring big names with big voices. Among them, Adam Lambert (For Your Entertainment),, Whitney Houston (Million Dollar Bill), Kelly Clarkson (Already Gone) and Kris Allen (Live Like We're Dying). Nothing beats a safe formula such as this, in the music industry.

Brandon Flowers-Flamingo (2010 New Album)

Brandon Flowers - Flamingo
Take a gamble with Flamingo, Brandon Flowers, debut solo album. (Flowers is the lead singer of indie/synth-pop group The Killers). Without missing a beat, Flamingo has soul and complexity with every song telling a story to the listener, and most thankfully, there is none of the bland, vapid innocence that characterises songs like "Human" (The Killers) to be found. Killers fans need not fret, because songs "Jilted Lovers And Broken Hearts" and "Something I Said" will satiate the appetite. Even lovelier is 'Hand Enough", where Flowers does a duet with Jenny Lewis if indie band Rilo Kiley. We recommendation: don't put the album on Shuffle mode, and let it play straight from beginning to the end.

Maroon 5-Hands All Over (2010 New Album)

Maroon 5 - Hands All Over
What do you say when veteran studio wizard Robert John "Mutt" Lange expresses an interest in producing your new album? (In his studio on the north shore of scenic Lake Geneva no less?) "Misery" is probably going to be the top single from this album, as it's pretty much everything we love about Maroon 5 - funky guitar riffs, infectious feet-tapping melodies, and of course, Adam Levine crooning out catchy lyrics you just know will stick in your heads. We likes this album overall, and recommend you get it - if only for the pure sense of fun you get from listening to it.

Simply Red-Songs Of Love (2010 New Album)

Simply Red - Songs Of Love
If you wanted to introduce someone to the music of Simply Red, this would be the album you'd do it with. Opening with perhaps the quintessential Simply Red song - "Say You Love Me", this album takes you down memory lane with one great ballad after another. Songs like "Stars", "For Your Babies", and "Holding Back The Years" never seem to grow old, and the two new tracks "I Have The Love" and "Beside You" (from the movie What Dreams May Come) are welcome additions to round out the album.
